About.

I’m a General Practitioner with over 25 years of experience caring for patients across Queensland. I completed my medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1995 and went on to gain my Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2002.

Over the years, I’ve worked in a wide range of settings — from busy hospitals and rural communities to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health services and family practices. I enjoy all aspects of general practice, with particular interests in child health, allergy medicine, women’s health, travel medicine, and preventive care.

I also love teaching the next generation of doctors and have been a long-standing tutor with the University of Queensland, helping medical students develop their clinical and communication skills.

My aim is to help you achieve your best possible health. Together we can look at a range of lifestyle factors — enjoyable movement, health-giving food choices, creativity, social connections, connecting with nature or something greater than ourselves, engaging with helpful psychological habits, and letting go of those that are not serving you.

My approach to medicine is warm, thorough, and collaborative. I believe in listening carefully, understanding each patient’s story, and working together to support your health and wellbeing.
